Mary Carey is a porn star and politician. Her stage name comes from her passing resemblance to singer Mariah Carey. Shortly after Carey entered the adult film industry she became a featured entertainer. She is best known for her lesbian themed films. In addition to numerous adult movies, she has posed in adult magazines and has appeared on Playboy TV. Much of her fan-base is due to her large breasts, and initially Carey claimed to have never received breast implants. Eventually, though, she admitted to having had a “boob job.”During the 2003 California recall election, she was an independent candidate, placing tenth in a field of 135 candidates. In December 2006, Carey sought a trademark on her name “Mary Carey”, to which the singer Mariah Carey has filed a motion of opposition, citing the possibility of confusion between the two individuals.
